Our client offers a web based firewall solution that protects web applications and APIs from advanced cyber threats such as bots, account takeovers, and denial of service attacks. Combining behavior profiling and threat intelligence with deep analytics we deliver precise protection and complete threat visibility designed for today's modern cloud environments.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
The level two Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst will provide second tier support to our clients as well as testing and implementing of new features, deep rule dives, and adding in automation when possible. The candidate will provide behind the scenes data analysis and in depth log analysis through interaction with the platform and interwork.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

1-2 years of experience working in firewall security applications/web application security
- Understanding of networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, HTTP), OSCP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to easily break down technical jargon into layman's terms
Baseline comfort with Linux, and some knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript, AWS, any form of cloud hosting and virtualization and containers)
