We are looking for a Geospatial/GIS Data Management specialist who can support and manage GIS data flows, lifecycle, transformations, publishing, and modernizing workflows. This includes working with and supporting cartographers, data analysts, data scientists, land planners. Job ResponsibilitiesGeospatial Data Management 80% Gather Geospatial Product requirements from product owners and stakeholders. Analyze Vector Data Sources (databases, services, files), and requirements to design target schemas Compile Natural Resource and topographic data to support base map production Develop ETL, scripts to support Data Translation, Field Mapping Transformations into Geodatabases Support SDE geodatabase replication to various production environments Operate in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and SAFE FME for database management and automation Support project team modernizing data and workflows streamlining map production using authoritative data Maintain data management process documentation Geospatial Product Generation 20% Support enhancements and troubleshooting to workflow automation for map production in ESRI POD Support data feature configuration in products using ArcMap (mxd) or Pro (aprx) Support Export Data Map Packages from SDE and publishing and sharing and dissemination to ArcGIS Online and including feature services, map services, and downloadable products Operate ArcGIS Hub sites and curate content libraries and content groups available in the environment Operate Portal for ArcGIS including data publishing, basic access, and configuration Develop and maintain process and technical documentation Support requirements analysis for geospatial product workflow automation collaborating with and other GIS specialists (e.g., GIS Developers, GIS Systems Specialists, Data Management Specialists) Support product end users, data stewards, and cartographers developing documentation and delivering light training. Job Requirements: 3+ years geospatial experience editing in ESRI Desktop ArcMap, ArcPro 3+ years geospatial experience operating and data management in ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (SDE), AGOL, Portal 1+ years ArcGIS configuration for MXD, APRX, WMS, and WFS 1+ years experience data transformation in Python Scripting, Safe FME, or similar Geo ETL Cartographic and map production experience is a plus. Federal Civilian experience in Land Management Data Programs. Bachelor's degree in related field (Preferred: Geography, environmental science/policy) Must be able to pass basic NACI, background, drug and reference checks. Must be able to demonstrate fast, quality typing/coding as well as fast visual prototyping.
