ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

Join a technology company seeking an Experienced System Administrator with a strong coding background to manage the 3M infrastructure. As the Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of all 3M systems, including servers, networks, and databases. You will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and proactively identify and address potential problems. You will also be responsible for writing and maintaining scripts and code to automate system administration tasks, improve system performance, and implement new functionality as required.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Understand the workflow and data flows of the system
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues
• Write and maintain scripts and code to automate system administration tasks and implement new functionality
• Collaborate with IT, Coding, CDI, and other staff to help implement, troubleshoot, and test the application
• Ensure correct grouper versions are loaded and launching appropriately for different payers
• Evaluate and troubleshoot interface (HL7) messages from 3M to Epic in Test and Production
• Ensure appropriate access to 3M products and maintain the provider database
• Complete new user setup and handle password resets for 3M products
• Maintain table and template management and produce reports as requested by HIM management
• Keep up-to-date with vendor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contract language
• Coordinate upgrades with IT and vendors, and engage in IT Change Management discussions
• Build relationships with Information Systems staff to increase knowledge of correct support people and skill sets

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• Strong background in coding and experience with MS SQL server updates and patches required for 3M products
• Solid experience in system administration and IT change management
• Ability to troubleshoot and proactively identify and address potential problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work well independently or collaboratively as required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable field
• Experience with HL7 interfaces, Epic integration, and/or 3M products
