Join the our client's Research Team, a world-class group of researchers, developers, and engineers dedicated to creating the future of virtual and augmented reality. As an Audio Presence Project Manager, you will contribute to ambitious research projects aimed at creating unique audio experiences using virtual acoustics technologies, including acoustic simulation and interactive binaural auralization. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and help shape the future of AR and VR in the consumer electronics space.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Defining project goals and timelines
- Creating documentation and coordinating software sprints
- Assigning and tracking tasks
- Managing budgets, timelines, and resources
- Monitoring problems, facilitating resolutions, and implementing changes as necessary to keep projects on track
- Regularly reporting on project progress, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders
- Managing procurement projects for equipment and vendor services
- Developing request for proposal (RFP) and statement of work (SOW) documents
- Overseeing projects and conducting fieldwork as necessary
- Providing operational support to the team's goals
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
To excel in this role, you should have:
- At least 8 years of experience in Project Management, with a demonstrated track record of successful project completion
- Proven project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Experience in both traditional project management and agile/scrum methodologies
- Some experience in the consumer electronics space, e.g., headphones, Bluetooth, speakers
- Proactive attitude and the ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with audio technologies
- Experience in a fast-paced research and/or product development environment
- Team building and leadership training and consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management, computer science, systems engineering, business, or a related field preferred
