Why:
This team will help with the delivery of the Machine Learning training and evaluation data to the feature team that is building an OCR feature on MacOS and iOS. This feature allows users to pull text, email addresses, phone numbers, and more from pictures.

Experience Desired:

3-5 years of experience in Python as a programming language
1. Familiarity with JSON files
2. Professional experience not required; CS Degree is sufficient
Experience setting up automation/ETL pipelines
1. Apache Airflow is ideal but open to other pipelining tools
SQL experience (both language and a modern SQL database)
Experience creating reports and dashboards (ideally Tableau)

Nice to Have:

1. Kubernetes and Docker for containerization
2. NLP/ML Experience

D2D:
This resource's responsibility will be to divided into 3 main deliverable tasks that are going to directly contribute to the feature development of the feature available in iOS and MacOS versions. The first will be to set up automation pipelines for various data products connected to the different features using Airflow. This will be done using Airflow as an open source automation project tool, Python, and Unix systems. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker would also be valuable to assisting the creation of these pipelines. The 2nd task will be to create and run an automated validation tool to ensure that the files are in the necessary format to be migrated. This will require an ability to work with JSON files and Python to be able to run the scripts on this validation tool. Lastly, this resource will need to create reports/dashboards for the project as well as modify existing scripts. Visualization experience is a strong plus with the preferred tool being Tableau to create these dashboards and reports. This resource will be an integral part of the team to ensure the maintenance and advancement of our program's feature.
