The Enterprise Services Datacenter Network Organization designs, implements and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructure serving around 110,000 employees, in over 900 locations across 65 plus countries. We work with the latest and emerging technologies to deliver scalable, high performing, always available infrastructure services around the world. We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute and transact business solutions that utilizes cloud first, automation, analytics, “as a Service”, BIG data and software defined.
The Principle System Analyst will be responsible for operational support of Windows Server Infrastructure, hardening and architecture for >15,000 servers. You will work in Windows & Linux Server Support & Administration (Windows 2019/2016/2012 Operating Systems & *NIX) This role includes asset management focus on CMDB Server asset class, Lifecycle, and TCO of server install base.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU  

Key Responsibilities:
• Operational support on a rotational basis of > 15,000 server
• Accountable for Service now asset management activities for servers & related financial performance related to support contracts and lease entitlements
• Ongoing service now metrics relating to Server class CMDB lifecycle
• Work with Hyper Converged Infrastructure technology platforms like Nutanix or Dell VXRail
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to virtualized workloads
• Participate in calls with other members to address and troubleshoot application and or infrastructure related issues
OTHER
• Travel Approximately 15%

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

YOU MUST HAVE
• A bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Discipline
• Experience in managing Windows & Linux operating systems
• 7+ years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB tools integration & automation efforts.
• Possess strong knowledge on Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 OS
• The ability to be a change agent and promote positive change in the organization
• Excellent oral, written and collaborative communication skills, including executive level communications
• The ability to partner effectively across IT teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvements
• Strong interpersonal skills - effective listening and teaming
• Self-motivated, demonstrated bias for action
• Skilled in partnering with internal customers at all levels to define problems, identify solutions, and facilitate change
