ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for software engineers to contribute towards adopting our client's libraries, build systems, and dependencies on a new (non-posix) operating system. Work will need to be completed on our client's an open source core library along with all dependencies of our computer vision stack to make them work in this new system. Software engineers will work alongside our computer vision staff, using multiple repositories to fix build systems and dependencies to bring up a Computer Vision stack (SLAM). This opportunity is located in San Francisco, CA. 

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
• Port library to a new OS.
• Integrate computer vision libraries to a new OS and identify and fix missing dependencies.
• Back propagate all changes in libraries to the main repository.
• Regularly report job progress to team management.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Design of portable libraries for Linux and Android.
• Strong knowledge of build systems. Preferably Buck or Bazel.
• Knowledge of version control. Preferably Mercurial.
• Experience configuring, building, and testing libraries for Linux and Android.
• Expertise in C++.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
